Why You Are Not Good Enough

Why You Are Not Good Enough

The reason you are not good enough is that you seek validation from those who do not understand or identify with you.

Chances are, no one can ‘claim the mark’ (for long) in the eyes of certain people in whom confirmation is desired- unless they are given indefinite allowance to vomit in our desert (some allow such disrespect just to remain in presumed social standing or if they find their personal worth in quantity, as opposed to quality).

Your worth is in God! Only He knows you (better than you know yourself).

The entire world renounces you- even those in whom you once betrothed your firstborn- but The Lord is of your tribe. In spirit and Real Time, you can hold His hand and He will never let it go- as others do.

Trust in Jesus Christ; bear no shame!

Below is one of my best-loved Bible verses. It describes how some people will always be against us no matter what we do.

“‘We played the pipe for you, and you did not dance; we sang a dirge, and you did not mourn.’ Mathew 11:17

Your intentions are known by Him.

  1. Astute observation, Tamara. Truly, that Approval is the only one which means anything, ultimately, right?

Of course it often is dash-difficult often to effect the emotional quietness to recognize this. After all, we are social beings, giving our fellow-creatures’ (seeming) affirmation undue, and usually definitive, influence.

Truly, this requires superhuman effort. In fact, Divine Intervention is necessary. That’s kind of your whole point, isn’t it?

  2. So profound and true! I had to learn the hard way that only God and we can determine our worth. To be good enough requires that you believe you’re good enough and that you trust in God. No one else can do that for you. Thank you so much for posting! 🙂
