Preparation for The End Times

Preparation Details for The End Times

Preparation –

Not everyone, such as myself, can master the preparation details of essentials needed for The End Times. Since I have ADHD, my organization skills … well, suck.

My Evacuation Kit is ready to go in case of an earthquake, a flood, or a monster-attack, but I am not adept at detailed survival skills such as canning sandwiches, finding drinkable water sources or growing hearty stews, spaghetti, and baked chicken out of seeds.

Stocking up for months (or even years) with food, to prepare for The End Times, does not feel right when there are people in my community out of work, from the COVID-19 Virus, who are hungry right now.

When the Paradise Camp Fire hit California, not only were hundreds of thousands of houses obliterated, but so was all gear, food and other catastrophe supplies.

Most of us do not have houses with protected bomb-shelters that are impervious to fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, or Killer-Tomato attacks. In fact, many people have no roof over their heads at all.

Some necessities in our grasp for oncoming calamities are important, such as an Emergency Pack or First Aid Supplies, but my main survival gear comprises that which cannot get destroyed- faith in Jesus Christ– not just during disasters, but every day.

This is what will prepare me for The End Times.

Ephesians 6: 10-18

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

  1. Exactly, my friend, exactly! The first set of emergencies you describe – fires, earthquakes, marauding robots and the like – all involve externals. What do I have within reach to see me through the crisis?

Meanwhile, what you’ll need for the End Times, you have already. It’s in you, in your heart. You need only allow it to flourish. Another major difference is that the End Times quickly will give way to Glory. Which will last forever.

You want to be ready, of course, buy I wouldn’t get too bent out of shape about it. Not in the same you have to worry about not having enough tomatoes to throw at the robots when they crest the horizon.

    1. I like your list because it is the simple basics which I can definitely do. I do not have a wood, but I have a propane heater. The rest of my house is run on electricity, no gas.

Perhaps I can look on Amazon for something in which to cook rice in the event of an emergency. I do have 10 gallons of water saved up in two closed containers in my closet.

I think that I could store some firewood under a tarp in my backyard. But, I would need a rack to put the pan on in which to cook the rice.

Rice is such a good idea for me because I have a metabolic disorder that requires me to eat carbohydrates around the clock because my body cannot utilize fatty acids for energy, like other people.

If I don’t have carbohydrates on hand, my body will start eating its own muscle tissue which is excruciatingly painful, and life threatening. This is why I hoard Cliff Bars in my purse and Evacuation Kit.
