Becoming A Nun –
Had I become a nun, as planned, I would not have gotten into so much trouble, and made so many bad decisions.
It is just that I did not know how to sign up for this favored career field, nor did I have any idea where to get an application.
I suppose the other reason I chose not to become a nun was because I was not Catholic- nor am I, now.
However, apart from the above issues, my dream to become a nun was genuine. (My other chosen career field was psychiatry, but that remained low on the totem pole compared to that of a nun).
Still, the most important matter was that my desire for my beautiful baby boys was greater than my aspiration of Religious Sisterhood.
My sons are two of the most profound miracles that ever happened to me!
Anyway, the main point I am trying to make here, is this:
Mary Magdalene- though not the Virgin, Mother Mary of Jesus Christ- was a forgiven sinner, despite her many trespasses, and she was blessed by Jesus Christ… and so am I!
Thank you, Jesus!

Isaiah 55:7
Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the LORD, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon.

There are many worthy, and indeed, glorious, callings other than The Vows, Tamara, and you’ve given yourself to them.
Mother, artist, inspiration – these are your habits, your vestments. The world you’ve created is your convent and your chapel. Indeed, you did make vows years ago, when you first overcame, and you continue to fulfill them today.
