Abuse of Vulnerable Adults

Abuse of vulnerable adults, both men and women, is a shocking reality of life. I, for one, used to think the most susceptible individuals in our society were protected by a mutual respect among predators that delegated a “do not touch” approach.

Sadly, Narcissists and Sociopaths inflict abuse on the defenseless. They have no ethical or moral qualms (since they are void of a conscience), on targeting the most challenged and debilitated. Yet, they still take pleasure in the sport of harming those who are stealthy and durable.

These Dark Personalities carry no empathy or compassion to stop them from uprooting vulnerable people, hurling them into the night air, and feeding off the surging power of watching their victims crashing into the rocks, below, in such violence that their brains leak out from their crushed skulls.

For now, though, God is holding back the abilities of the worst of these offenders from having full reign in their abuse of others.

I believe our Lord permits some curtailed allowance to these predators, in our fallen world, as a last resort, hoping we will come to our senses and realize just how crucial it is to turn to Him.

He is The Only One Who can protect and give everlasting peace and indescribable joy, within!

What could be more significant than steering us toward the decision to accept Eternal Life through Jesus Christ?
