Fun Trivia: Fact or Fiction –
Back in the 70s, they used to judge participants of tap dancing contests using a unique method called Eeewsome.
The judges lauded the unsuspecting tapper with the highest amount of squashed cockroaches on the bottom of their shoes as the fastest and most skilled tap dancer and therefore deemed him/her the champion.
Competitions took place in roach-infested auditoriums (which also saved money on insecticides).

Oh, thank goodness… I can sleep peacefully now. I can’t tell which is more horrific: the thought of there being that many cockroaches in one place, or the idea of putting those poor tap shoes through such an abominable experience…

I just made it up because I imagined it and the thought of tap dancers killing cockroaches underneath their shoes, while they danced, made me laugh. LOL 😝

Fiction that should be fact.
Stupidly I Google Eeewsome and it came up with a news story “Disneyland calls on Newsom to allow California theme parks to reopen”. Reopening theme parks in the middle of a pandemic is probably more stupid than judging tapdancing by cockroach squishing. xx
