Good Olé Days –
Each generation has its own battles
and catastrophes to face;
struggling and overcoming
will forever be the case.
Difficulties mixed with pleasures
keep us on our toes,
so we can stay vigilant and sober,
weathering life’s trials and wayward woes.
Still, every day is a unique blessing
in which to give passionate praise;
and we will look back again,
and say, “remember those good olé days?”

Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
