Grace is Sufficient –
My short take on the meaning of scripture 2 Corinthians 12:9:
… But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
When we feel strong and viable, we call out to The Lord less often than when we are in significant need, or in a desperate situation.
Thus, it is when we are drowning in anguish and/or weak that we kneel and surrender to Him, and therefore, derive His perfect power for our situation, and our lives!
(He does not want to see us hurting, or in pain, but if such predicaments cause us to turn to Him, and give our lives to Him, then how could our trials and tribulations not be worth The Greatest and Most Superb Reward in existence: Eternal Life)?

Romans 8:18
I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.
