Worry Monster –
There is a worthless
monster
named, Worry;
and inside our heads,
it often tends to scurry,
tricking us into believing
it is a long-time friend,
whose presence,
we should nourish;
and its visit,
we ought
to continually
extend.

1Peter 5:7
Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

In what may be a coincidence, Tamara, I watched “The American Experience” feature on the Rockefellers a few days ago.
In it was a poem penned by John D. Rockefeller himself:
“I early was taught to work and play,
and life has been one happy holiday
Lots of work, and lots of play,
I left the worries along the way,
and God has been good to me every day.”
Much to inspire, Tamara, in his example, and yours.

Oh, NICE! I didn’t know Rockefellers wrote poems, too. I thought he just made those paintings. Thank you for your lovely comment!

I love, love, love this Tamara! Getting out of our own heads is really tough, and so necessary, to be able to live in the world. Cool imagery – I’m not sure how you did it but it sure is awesome.
Thank you for sharing!

Thanks, sweet Eliza. The concrete poem … It’s difficult to explain, but it’s a process. I have to move words, and letters, everywhere. And, then I attempt to form an image. Images with straight lines are easier than rounded figures. xxxooo

On “Batboy”, I posted the process. I lack higher quality media tools, really. But, thank you so much for your kind appreciation. xxxooo
