Choices, Bad Ones –
Dear Friends:
It’s okay to make mistakes… I mean really, really bad mistakes… because that’s life. We also make horrible and revolting choices. My head is spinning, now.
Here’s the thing; it’s not about the negative choices in which we’ve taken such (weee) revelry; but, it’s about showing ourselves (and our loved ones), how we can better ourselves, despite our sordid, disturbingly scintillating, monstrous pasts, and make more caring choices, from this time forward.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to my sweet family, and WordPress friends!
You’re The Best!
I’m still working on myself; I have a feeling it’s going to take several more Christmases, and New Years, though.
Bad choices usually haunt us at a later date. Ugh!
Love, Tamara xxxxoooo

Exactly, Tamara! Much as we’d love to go back and undo some of the decisions we made, we can’t. All is not lost, though. Far from it, in fact.
Though we can’t choose different past actions, we can use that knowledge to reshape something we still can change, future paths.
Plus, as you ask, what’s more inspiring, the person who’s perfect, always has been, or the person who’s “merely” good, and rose there from regrettable origins?
You think I’ve made such great progress already? Just wait until you see what’s next!

Exactly, TA! Rising up out of our ‘own’ ashes and dust is significant, as it is the hardest, and most grueling thing to do, and our toughest opponent.
