Prayer, Why?
Father,
what, then,
is the purpose
of prayer,
when You are,
after all,
everywhere?
You already know,
beforehand,what I am going
to say;
so, I ask You, Dear Lord,
why should I take
time out to pray?

prayer is the divine
concentration
of dedicated
meditation
toward
the meaningful
cultivation
of soul-renewing
sanctification,
through
Jesus’ Christ.”

Dearest Father,
thank you
for answering
my question
in this rhyme;
You are entirely
awesome;
and, Your love
is sublime!
