Lighter Side of Narcissism

Lighter side of Narcissism doesn’t actually exist due to the serious trauma that these kind inflict upon others; however, sometimes there is a bit of humor found in the complete irony of Narcissists, themselves.

During the healing process from the mind-bending abuse endured during any kind of relationship with a person high on the Narcissism spectrum, sometimes it can help if we can find a reason to smile, and further down the road, maybe even see a lighter side, and have a bit of a laugh now, and again.

 Looking back at my experiences with these diabolical personalities, some of the statements that came out of their mouths, or the behaviors that they displayed were, at times, just plain ridiculous!

 I remember a time when I was he Narcissist’s soulmate whom he could “not survive without“, and yet, practically four days later (if even that much), I was a “demon’s spawn who was on her way to Hell”.

Groomed by blatant idealization to feel significant, and put on the highest pedestal imaginable, I was then violently shoved off that high place, and thoroughly ghosted… (poof!) just like that! The psychological shock was overwhelming.

 For the most part, my pain has turned into relief because I have gotten past much of the trauma from the entire ordeal; (I give the glory to God for being with me the way through)!

Of course, I still have residual memories of the crazy, almost surreal, situations that I experienced via these dark entities.

Mathew 6:23

But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!
