Accountability, Sinners –

My words are to help protect others;

thus, my purpose is not to wave a wand

of judgement against any of you;

after all,

The Good Lord already knows,

well enough,

that in a manner of speaking,

upon my belly,

I have often taken about

to slithering, too.

Accountability, Sinners

We are all sinners.

I am aware of the fact that Narcissistic Individuals do not agree with my statement about us all being sinners. However, the point I am making is in my poem. Thank you, for allowing me to express accountability for my sinfulness.

  1. As you observed, Tamara, we all fall short occasionally, sometimes more so than others.

    We’re works in progress, each of us, always striving and sometimes triumphing. It’s all part of the progress we make, our own modest contributions to making this better place, not just for ourselves, but for those yet to come.

    Maybe “I” don’t make much difference, but x8 billion (or whatever the world population is now)…

  2. Holding yourself accountable, that’s something not many people, or at least not enough, do. Your words & your blog serve to support, lift people up and to educate. It’s always good to know that as a good person, your goodness will always outweigh any so-called ‘negatives’. If that makes any sense! xx
