Sweet Potato Frosting, Baby!

Sweet Potato Frosting, Baby!

Sweet Potato Frosting, Baby!

I made an easy recipe that I got off of my Pinterest board! It’s Chocolate Sweet Potato Frosting! Can you believe it??? I can.

The marvelous thing about it is that it’s easy to make for sophisticated people, such as myself.

Here are my two must requirements (in order) for making a recipe:

1). EASY

2). Tastes Good

I don’t think that’s too much to ask.

Anyway, blend sweet potatoes (cold), cocoa powder, honey, vanilla, and Stevia; now, refrigerate.

I have a picture to show you, dear WordPress friends. I am reluctant to post the photo because I am sure my Narcissistic frenemies out there will suggest that I eat that which looks like something else, other than chocolate frosting.

In all situations, I never care what my Narcissistic frenemies think of me; but here’s the thing… this time they’d be right(for once).

Okay, you pulled my leg; I will post the picture! It is below the recipe…

Sweet Potato Frosting, Baby!

Directions

2 Cups cooked Sweet Potatoes; I boiled mine and skinned them (I know this sounds barbaric, but its just sweet potatoes);

1 Cup Cocoa Powder (sounds like a lot, but no, it’s not);

1/4-1/3 Cup Honey (depending on your sweetness preference… yum!);

Vanilla (we need not measure it unless we want another thingy to wash);

Stevia; optional for extra sweetness (one can never have too much of that, right?)

It surprised me; it tastes like frosting! Here’s the picture; but remember, I warned you of what it looks like... (c’mon, it’s just Sweet Potato Frosting, baby)!!!

P.S. I don’t have any cake to put the frosting on, but I never do, anyway.

    1. I love frosting, too, IM, and I don’t even mind not having any cake to put it on; I like to just put it on a spoon!

      No… yes, I do think you are astutely sophisticated, but in an elegantly “unsophisticated” way. Only special people get that classification.

      The Sweet Potato Chocolate Frosting is actually… it Rocks! It’s so good! I put the leftovers in the freezer, and tried it that way, too, and it’s delicious frozen.

      You might not like it cuz you’ll be too busy lovin’ it. Ha haha.

  1. Hahah, ‘astutely sophisticated, but in an elegantly “unsophisticated” way’, I can roll with that!
    When I went to my ex’s cousin’s wedding, they had this ginormous cake. It had a lot of frosting / icing. There was a lot of leftover cake. I happened to mention how much I liked frosting. Guess what I came home with? 2 big bags (weighed about 10lbs!) of icing. No cake. Just solid, glorious frosting. And I ate all of it (over a few days, I’m not a total monster) 😉

    1. I would’ve taken the next flight out to your house and ate it with you… 😆 ha ha. You sound just like me. Ha ha. (But, you probably like to eat your frosting alone, also like me). 😂

    1. Yes, I can imagine that was a happy day for you, and how! Lol… I’m putting myself in your shoes, and thinking:

      “Ohhhhhh…
      my happy, happy,
      happy day!
      Life is beautiful
      in ev’ry way!
      This makes up for all
      bad days of past!
      Ohhhhhh…
      I’m happy, happy,
      forever, at last!”

      Is it a bit much? It’s just how I would be… (lol!)
