Liking Our Own Posts is OKAY!

Dear WordPress Friends,

It’s okay for us to Like our own posts, and even Comment on them. It’s not being rude, or anything; it’s simply saying, “Oh YAY, it finally came together! Cool.”

I, sometimes, Like my own posts, and very infrequently, I will give myself a comment, too. I might say, “Great post! I love it!”. I mean, I find it encouraging and self-soothing, to say the least.

I love it when I Comment on my own posts, and then a few minutes later, I can see that I have a brand new comment from someone– Me! It’s so exciting!

Same deal with the Likes; after I Like one of my posts, I will then put my IPAD down, and pretend I am going to go do something else, but instead, I will quietly sneak back up on my device, and then I will see the Like button flashing, and I will get all happy and jazzed up about it! I’m like, “Oh, ya! I just got a new Like, and it’s from Me! So cool.”

It really makes my day!

YAY!
